Overview
Problem Statement
Entering the workforce as a new grad can be daunting. Due to the limited interactions with co-workers, it is more difficult to engage in social events outside of work. Especially after the pandemic, we have been accustomed to a remote working environment and primarily an online lifestyle, which has negatively impacted our ability to socialize. afterFive aims to address this issue, especially for newly grads, and provide them with a platform and community to meet other individuals with similar interests.

About afterFive
afterFive is intended for new grads entering the workforce to combat the common issue of social engagement. Our goal is to build friendly digital platforms for people from diverse backgrounds and connect those that share common hobbies and interests; we hope to help them to foster a sense of community away from work.
Goals
-
encourages social engagement outside of the work environment
-
connect users that share similar interests and hobbies
-
social engagement between users and events is intuitive
